Sputnik Sweetheart serves up high-energy dance-ready indie rock. Taking its name from a novel by Japanese noir writer Haruki Murakami, this brand new band combines driving guitars and bouncing synths with influences raging from post-punk to electro -- and more than a little Michael Jackson. A collaboration between New York musician Kyle Jarrow (of The Fabulous Entourage) and Boston rocker Nathan Leigh (of A Thousand Ships), it also features Drew St. Aubin on the drums and the talents of bassist Arvi Sreenivasan.
